How do I sign up for ThreadBack?

Signing up is fast and completely free. Visit ThreadBack.com and click “Sign Up Free” — register using your email address or sign in with Google or Apple. You’ll complete a quick style quiz that helps our AI build your personalized style profile.

Is ThreadBack free to use?

Yes — ThreadBack is free to join and free to browse. Sellers can list up to 20 items per month at no cost, with ThreadBack taking a 12% commission on each completed sale. Premium Membership ($89.99/year) removes listing limits, reduces commission to 8%, eliminates ads, and unlocks priority AI recommendations.

How does AI style matching work?

When you create your account, you complete a style quiz covering aesthetics, brands, sizing, and budget. Our AI builds your style profile and continuously refines it based on your browsing and purchase behavior. The more you use ThreadBack, the smarter your recommendations become.

How do I list an item for sale?

Tap “Sell,” upload 1–4 photos, and our AI does the rest — auto-generating category, brand detection, condition, tags, and a full listing description. Review, set your price (or accept the AI suggestion), and publish. Under 60 seconds for most items.

What fees does ThreadBack take?

Free tier: 12% commission per completed sale. Premium Members: 8% commission. No listing fees, no hidden charges.

How do I get paid as a seller?

Once delivery is confirmed, earnings are released to your ThreadBack Wallet. Transfer to your bank account (1–3 business days) or PayPal (24 hours), or use your balance toward purchases. Payouts available once balance reaches $10.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. ThreadBack uses 256-bit SSL encryption and is fully PCI-DSS compliant. Your payment details are never stored on our servers or shared with sellers. All payments are held in escrow until the transaction is confirmed complete.

What condition should items be in?

We accept: Like New, Excellent, Good, and Fair (with full disclosure). We do not accept heavily damaged, torn, or stained items (unless labeled for upcycling).
